CHOCOLATE SANTORINI
Chocolate Santorini
(serves 12)
INGREDIENTS:
• 1 kg dark chocolate
• 150 gr. raisins (optional)
• 250 gr. WHOLE hazelnuts
• 1 box Papadopoulou Petit Beur cookies broken in chunks by hand
• 20 ml Gran Marnier
• 1 lt cream
• 2 cans of Nounou sweetened condensed milk
DIRECTIONS:
In a saucepan heat the cream; when it’s about to boil remove from the heat. At the same time, in another saucepan, melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler. Once melted, add the sugar and milk, then mix the mixture with cream. Pour the remaining ingredients, the Grand Marnier, hazelnuts, cookies and stir. Pour the mixture into a long form that you have previously lined with greaseproof paper. Place in the freezer until frozen. Cut into slices and serve.
